Contours and layer order

Hi
At the moment, contours are always plotted on top of all other features, i.e. the last layer to be drawn. Whilst this is generally what is required I find that there are times when I would like to be able to move the contours down the list so that they are partially overdrawn by other features.
For example, if I have a geological depth surface map, I would get a much more pleasing result if the fault polygon file were to over-write the contours (see example). Can you consider adding this option?
Thanks

You can change the default behavior now by going to the Vector Display tab of the Configuration dialog and changing the 'Vector Layer Order During Draw' setting so that the layer order is obeyed over the default natural ordering.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike
