WAsP Map - combined elevation & roughness lines

Hello,
I would like to be able to export combined roughness & elevation lines from GM in the form of a WAsP Map. I know that the shapes need to have attributes 'Rough_L' and 'Rough_R' for the roughness map but I cannot find what the attribute name needs to be to add a height as well.
I have attached a simple WAsP map file to show what I mean in case I am not clear.
Test1.map
Thanks in advance for your help.

Richard,
Any attribute will do. A number will be recognized automatically, like ELEVATION or HEIGHT, but you can also go to the Options dialog for the layer with the lines with elevation and select which attribute to get the elevation values from. Then on export any lines with elevation and/or roughness will be written to the .map file. Any area features with roughness will be written (areas don't use elevation since you don't have a single elevation inside an area).
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply. The issue here is that my areas do have the same height (a tree height in this case). So I am trying to output the roughness length and "height" all in a single line. The WAsP map format does allow this:
Z0_left Z0_right Height #Points
X Y
X Y
X Y
Is it possible to get GM to write out .map files of the above format? At the moment I can only get roughness and elevation lines individually.
Thanks again for your help,
Richard. -
Richard,
Right now GM would just write out the roughness left and right and the #Points. Are you saying that if I add the elevation just before the #Points field for the line then Wasp handles that as well? I could very easily make that change.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
Yes this is what I understand. You can see the file format at this link (option c is the one I am trying to output). WAsP terrain map (*.map)
Thanks,

Richard,
I've updated the export so if the area both roughness and elevation they are both written to the area feature header. I have placed a new build at http://www.bluemarblegeo.com/downloads/global-mapper/global_mapper15.zip with the latest changes for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v15.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit v15 version there is a new build at http://www.bluemarblegeo.com/downloads/global-mapper/global_mapper15_64bit.zip .
Thanks,
Mike
