For your direction vector do you just have something like a start point and some distance/bearing? If so you can use the option to create a new distance/bearing/COGO line in the Digitizer Tool in Global Mapper to create your new feature by providing the starting point and then the distance and bearing to the end point.
Thanks,

well it is some sort of linker in which some latitude and longitude will be acquired through labVIEW and I want to display pointers or dots over the maps on Global Mapper. Then I want to display pointer to that dot through some static refrence.

It sounds like maybe you just need the line from one point to another in Global Mapper, which you can draw with the Digitizer Tool. Just set the line style to 'Solid With Arrow Pointing to Start' or 'Solid With Arrow Pointing to End'. There are also options for dashed lines with arrows.

how can i control that function using global mapper sdk with labview?
-
I've never used LabView, but http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/DCB90714981A1F148625731E00797C33 seems to describe how you can call an external Windows DLL (like the GlobalMapperInterface.dll of the SDK) from LabView.

Kindly tell me if there is any tutorial available for handling the SDK of Global Mapper.

There aren't exactly tutorials, but the SDK download includes an extensive C++ sample application as well as simpler C# and other samples. The 'doc' folder has a function reference document. The C++ sample app is definitely the best resource to see how to use it though.
Thanks,
Mike
