georeferenced image had to be rerectified

I did my first georeferenced image w/ GM13, but for some reason the finished image was a couple hundred miles from the site, so I chose to rerectify from the control centre, and the imaged appeared in the right location in the reference image pane, so I clicked OK, at it was in the right location...
anyone eles notice this type of behavior.
BTW I was quite pleased with the final result.

I've never heard of anything like that, is the problem reproducible? Which v13 version are you using? If not v13.2 I would first suggest getting that from the links below:
32-bit: http://www.globalmapper.com/downloads/global_mapper_setup.exe
64-bit: http://www.globalmapper.com/downloads/global_mapper_setup_64bit.exe

the georeferenced image had to be rerectified, by accepting the same values loaded the first time

Here is the rectification window, with fairly accurate point matching
Rectify004.jpg
Here is the Home Screen after rectification...it is a speck in the bottom right, and the map is in the upper
Rectify007.jpg
Here it is in the proper place after re-rectifying, it even works if I caccel the re-rectification
