Hi - I am launching a new website and I have collected the National Elevation Dataset 30m DEMs for the entire country (10m for Hawaii). I have cropped the data to the high resolution state borders provided by the US Census Bureau gazetteer. You can obtain all of this data freely from the following website:

http://seamless.usgs.gov

But be prepared to spend a lot of time and effort to find the data you want. OR the alternative is you can purchase and download the entire 30m dataset for the state from my website. Prices range from $24.99 to $29.99 per state depending on the size of the state. The data is available in the compressed Global Mapper Grid format or the larger GeoTIFF format. Please PM me if you have any questions. Here is the website where you can purchase the datasets:

http://www.topocreator.com/download_city_a.php

Scroll to find your state. Then click "Add to cart (GeoTIFF)" or "Add to cart (GMG)" depending on what format you want. You can also purchase high-resolution JPG state maps produced using the data in a variety of styles.

Thanks!

Holler when you have the 10M DEMs, 30M isn't of much value, at least to me.

No problem - what state(s) are you interested in? I already have all of Alabama and small portions of other states. I'll start building up my collection of state-wide 10m DEMs with your target states and then offer them to you if you are still interested.

3, 10 and 30 meter NED is also available from

    http://datagateway.nrcs.usda.gov/GatewayHome.html

I've never tried downloading on statewide scale before so not sure how difficult it is. I imagine the file sizes get to be an issue with the 10-meter.
