Online Imagery - Rights of use

Hi,

This is similar to andyeder's question about the world imagery but I was interested in the Landsat 7. Can we use the data commercially -produce a map that will be sold to third parties?

It would be great if you can provide a link via the help pages or via the "Download Imagery..." tool to the terms of use from each provider. I was trying edit source to at least look at the download link (to follow that back to the provider) but it doesn't allow you to do this.

I agree we probably should investigate ways to make the re-use and publication information easier to get at. For NASA data sets like Landsat the policy can be found at http://science.nasa.gov/earth-science/earth-science-data/data-information-policy/.

While finding that I also discovered a bunch of new WMTS sources from NASA's Global Imagery Browse Services (GIBS), so there may be a bunch of new built-in sources from NASA very soon!
