apply 3d-values from a .img-file to a polyline-shapefile

Mike,
if i apply the elevation-values from a erdas .img-file (Float-Elevations) to a shapefile (export vector shapefile 3d) the elevation of the actually used (visible) pyramid-level of the .img-File is applied to the shapefile instead of the elevation of the full-resolution-level is (GM 13.2).

I have updated the addition of per-vertex elevations to selected features to always pull from the most detailed layer of loaded layers with overviews. I have placed a new build at http://www.bluemarblegeo.com/downloads/global-mapper/global_mapper14.zip with the latest changes for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v14.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit v14 version there is a new build at http://www.bluemarblegeo.com/downloads/global-mapper/global_mapper14_64bit.zip .

Peter,

Sorry not for v13.2. For that version you would want to zoom in to the full detail layer of the IMG file prior to export, then do the 3D vector export.
