Hello, i have a gps log with lat, long and elevation , i need a averege for this position an elevation a global mapper make that .
ps a have novatel gps , the logs files is a .gps extension do you now global mapper is compatible with a file format

If you have a NMEA log you can play that back using the GPS->Setup menu. Then while playing it back you can use the GPS->Mark Waypoint from Averaged Position menu command to average a location.

I would have to see the Novatel log, but most GPS's store a NMEA-0183 log which many applications can use.

but a novatel gps create log with .gps extension dont save in nmea format , send to you a log file take a look ub01.txt

Indeed that is not a NMEA format log. You could load that format with the File->Open Generic ASCII Text File menu command though by specifying 'Point Only' and specifying the appropriate number of fields to skip before the coordinates. That would give you a separate point feature for each line in the file so you could visually see where they are clustered. Does each file represent one recorded set of locations for a single point feature and you'd want to average all of those?
