ECW Grid file naming

We are currently using version 7 for tiling images to ECW files...
GM names the tiles horizontally left to right, left to right, etc.
Is there any way to name the tiles vertically top to bottom, top to bottom?

    Are you using the sequential naming scheme? That option currently only supports row-major ordering of naming, which would start at the top left and proceed left to right within each row, one row at a time. It sounds like perhaps you are after sequential naming but in a column major order?

    Perhaps you could use the separate naming scheme with separate letters/numbers for the columns and rows? In the latest releases you can flip whether or not the row or column name comes first, which you may be able to work to get what you are after.
