Program Fail GM 14.1 64bit build Jan.30.2013 16:05:39 on LAS drag/drop

my LAS files (various sizes) that will load properly into GM v13 64bit will kill my new install of GM 14.1 64bit.
these las were digested properly by the isenburg lastools suite.
please let me know where upload ftp host might be.

    You can FTP to ftp.globalmapper.com with a username of 'upload@globalmapper.com' and a password of 'upload'. What error are you getting? I haven't had any LAS files fail on me in a very long time and v14.1 should handle much more than v13 could.

    No error... Windoze7 simply pops a msg box stating "global mapper 14" has stopped working.
    LAS test data has been uploaded to folder named /kwyates.
    I likely have an ESRI problem. I am going get out of ArcMap 10.1 and shutdown and restart the computre and report back to you.

    No Joy after Restart of workstation.

    I downloaded your files and they both load right up for me. What options are you choosing on the Lidar dialog when loading them? Does the crash happen immediately after pressing ok on the Lidar dialog? If you choose to create an elevation grid rather than a point cloud do they load?

    Do you still have v13 installed on the same machine? Can you try loading them in v13 and see if that works still?

    How many processor cores does your machine have?
