While you can't directly see a path from 2 different terrain surfaces, if you have a 3D path already defined (perhaps by adding Z values from a terrain surface to an existing line) and another terrain layer loaded, in newer versions of Global Mapper if you display a path profile for that 3D path using the Digitizer Tool, you will see the 3D path of that line and also the elevations from the terrain, so you can see the difference.

    Thanks,

Hi Mike. Thanks for your reply.
I found way to do it.
I just create 3D profile to the original topo and I save it as csv.file, so and I create another 3D profile for the current surface and I save it as CSV as well. than I I copy both to the excell, I join the 2 z elevations and i create graph on excell so u can see on picture how I do that.
    But thanks so much
And I only can see the 2 path profile on new version of GM??
    regards

If the path that you have is a 3D line with elevations added from the original terrain then you should the Z values of that line in addition to the Z values of whatever terrain that you have loaded at the moment, at least in the current releases. I'm sure it was in v13 at least, but I'm not sure about v12.

    Thanks,
