Any NMEA-compatible device which can provide position information to an external GPS should work. Often a Garmin GPS 18 puck device is a good low-cost solution if you don't need a display on the GPS device itself.

    Thanks,

I use a Garmin GPS 20x bluetooth. It works great with GlobalMapper. With a full charge it gives me up to 22 hours of tracking time but it can also be used while charging on USB. It's great for long trips when driving 10-12 hours a day.
