Area from Centroid

Guru, I've got a data set that consists of lines that represents polygonal areas along with centroids (points) within each "area". I need to create Area features from the lines and assign an attribute to the resulting areas based on the point feature that is within it. I can create area features from the lines but don't know how to assign attributes to them based on their centroid attributes. Any ideas?

Once you have the areas created, select them then right-click and select the Attributes submenu option to apply attributes to selected areas from points.
