How to get Geometry of the feature?

Hello,
Is there any function in SDK for getting the bounds, length or perimeter,area info of a selected line/area feature? or we have to do calculation using the vertices of the selected feature?

You can do the calculation using the vertices as you are, or to add measure attributes to every feature in a layer run a script/workspace file with an ADD_MEASURE_ATTRS script command (see http://www.globalmapper.com/helpv14/ScriptReference.html#cmd_add_measure_attrs). If you create a .gmw workspace you can load it with GM_LoadLayerList, or if you have the latest v14 build you can run a script either from a file or directly as the script text using GM_RunScript.
