I like the favorites feature, but it would be even better if the favorites features would show up when you right click on the digitizer like all the other features show up.
Do you mean like including a new submenu on the Digitizer Tool labelled 'Favorites' or something and have them all there? I'm not quite sure what that accomplishes beyond what the existing toolbar has. Did you know that you can also assign keyboard shortcuts to any of the items that can be added to Favorites toolbar dropdown?
You might play with setting up the shortcut keys first as that will allow you to work even faster than the right-click menu. I hesitate to add too much to the right-click menu as we are trying to keep it small.
Whilst on the digitizer thread, what I miss whilst working with ASCII data covering a large area, is the ability to draw 'freehand' around the data I want exclude from the area I'm working on and thus selecting that data that way instead of the compulosry square box that bever quite fits?
You can do that in a 2-step process. First draw an area feature that covers your area of interest, then select that area, then right-click and select the Advanced Selection submenu option to just select the type of data that you want inside that area.
