Cannot add elevation value to gpx vertices

In the following attachment there are two gpx files (gps tracks):
Tracks.zip
1) 1.gpx - the original. Every track point / vertex has it's own position, date&time, elevation. Global Mapper can modify the elevation value of the vertices.
2) 2.gpx - the original + some additional points added / edited with Garmin BaseCamp, and closed with />. The additional vertices have their own position, but no date&time and elevation data. Global Mapper cannot read and modify / add elevation: „There was no terrain data available for the entire feature.”
Is this something normal or a bug? I repeat: It is impossible to add elevation values to any vertices (track points) – regardless of whether they have date&time+elevation data or not.

The problem is that the track line only has elevations for some of the points and Global Mapper requires an elevation for each vertex to add per-vertex elevations. However, I decided to simply replace missing elevations with -9999.9 so if any elevations are there you won't lose them. Now your 2.gpx loads with per-vertex elevations. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper14.zip with the latest changes for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v14.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit v14 version there is a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper14_64bit.zip .
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike

It works! I've never seen such a quick active response from any program developer. Impressive. Thank You!
