Digitizer Tool Question

I've used this feature before often and for some strange reason my 2048x2048 grid looks more rectangle in shape. I'm curious as to what could cause that. The dimensions I used should show a square, and it normally does, but on this data I'm using the grid is showing as a rectangle. I've closed GM down and retried several time and same thing.

Thanks.

What projection is your grid in and what projection are you displaying in Global Mapper (see the Projection tab of the Configuration dialog)? If they are not the same then your grid is being reprojected and could display in a different shape depending on the reprojection being done. Another possibility if you aren't reprojecting is that the samples in your grid aren't square (i.e. 1 arc second in width and 2 arc seconds in height), so they don't cover a square on the ground.

    Thanks,
