Stripping xyz data from dwg files

Hi,
I have a recurring problem I was wondering if GM could help with.
I regularly get topographical survey files sent to me in dwg formats. We then have to strip down and extract x,y and z values from the attribute table in either, the "point" or "annotation". I use another program to do this however, I would like to know if it is possible to do this in global mapper. I would essentially like to end up with a large attribute table which i can see the x,y and z values of the surveyed topographical points.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

Cal

    Cal,

You could certainly load your DWG file then export the points to say a CSV file to get something you could quickly load up in Excel or something to see the XYZ and attribute data. Just use File->Export Vector to export the CSV file.

    Thanks,

    Mike
