CADRG Export

Has anyone been able to use the produced CADRG product in Falconview? I tried, but was unable to get FVW to recognize the data. I had the loaded data in geographic projection so that could not have been the problem. I would try more options but the trial version is very stingy with how much you can export and I have reached the limit.

Mike any chance of getting a larger limit before the trial times out (on Friday)?

Dave

    Dave,

We are working on some fixes for CADRG export to get Falconview to like it as apparent Falconview has additional requirements on top of what the CADRG spec requires. Hopefully in a couple of days I will have a new build for this.

    Thanks,

    Dave,

I have a potential fix for this. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper14.zip with the change for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v14.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit v14 version there is a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper14_64bit.zip .

    Thanks,

I will have to buy the upgrade first as the trial timed out, and I was at the limit for exporting data anyway. I will likely purchase the upgrade shortly and let you know how it works out. I saw your reply to Dougal in another thread, I do not think Falconview needs anything more than a fully compliant CADRG file. I am not real familiar with the specs, but I have moved CADRG files from one system to another without the associated full CD collection of other files, everything seemed to work fine.
