Suggestions for export dialogs

I would like to see these small usability improvements to the export dialogs.

This applies to raster and elevation exports. It would be great if the Resampling option could be made sticky between uses and (I think) also between sessions.

This applies to the Gridding tab for all exports, using the option "Use selected area feature(s) for grid cells". If the layer containing the selected area(s) has a column named "Name" or "Label" (not case sensitive), could this be initially selected in the naming drop-down box when it appears (rather than the first entry <Sequentially number grid cells>)?

This is not a request, but a question. I'm puzzled about the Save As dialog available from the Map Catalog Options window. I can't get it to make a fresh copy of the current catalog (after, say, making changes in the Raster options for the loaded data). I can execute the Save As dialog, after entering a new catalog name, but nothing is actually saved. This is the case in both v14 and v13.2. What am I missing?

Love the Favorites menu in v14!

Best regards,

All good suggestions. I have made the export resampling remembered between sessions. I also made the grid naming when gridding to areas default to the area name and made the map catalog 'Save As' button actually save the map catalog to that new file right away. I have placed a new build at with the latest changes for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v14.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit v14 version there is a new build at .

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Wow Mike, thanks very much. I thought perhaps with the new version successfully launched you might want to rest on your laurels at least for a moment but no! Very cool to have these small but helpful tweaks. I'll have to have a very cold beer on your behalf in appreciation.
