Draw Order in Google Earth

I am creating viewsheds in GM v12.02 and exporting them to Google Earth 5.2.1. GE divides the viewshed into many overlays that are tiled together. Different sets of overlays appear at different levels of magnification. It is difficult to change the draw order in GE since each overlay must be edited independently. Is it possible to set the draw order in GM instead prior to exporting?

Are you exporting as a vector or raster KML? If you have vector coverages for each view shed and you export a vector KML, each view shed coverage should be separately editable in Google Earth so you could turn them on and off.

I am working with raster kml. Vectors are nice when they work because I can change the color in the GE rather than having to re-export the raster with the new color, but they often don't fully enclose an area. So when I try to add color by changing them to Filled+Outlined they only color a fraction of the viewshed.

Ah I see. If you have the latest GM release there is an option when exporting a raster KML/KMZ called 'ADVANCED: Separate Raster Layers'. If that is checked each view shed should be separately exported so you can turn them on and off.

    Thanks,
