You can load the SHP file in Global Mapper, then export to numerous formats, including web formats using the File->Export Web Formats menu command. This includes KML files and Google Maps tiles that you can easily view in a web browser.

I am able to retrieve the SHP file but I cannot open the rest of the files. Please extract ASCI Samplefiles.zip

It looks like the ASCII format files are some kind of HIRLAM grid with a bunch of files defining a weather forecast or something like that. That format of data is not currently supported in Global Mapper.

Thank you.
By the way, do you have any idea (other than Global Mapper) that I could be able to find a software read HIRLAM grid format on other website?
Thanks. -
I'm afraid I'm not at all familiar with that format, so I'm not sure what can read it. Probably some type of weather modeling software, but I'm not too familiar with that market either.
Thanks,

I would like to know how about the rest of the file format like (EURDEP), (GPR), & (MET). Can Global Mapper be able to read the files?
Thanks. -
NOAA has a free downloadable "Weather and Climate Tool Kit" program that can load, convert, and display some kinds of gridded data. There is also a free "Degrib" file converter that converts files, and some other tools I don't know about. Don't know if either will work for your file type though. If it's NCDC or NGFD gridded data, the tool kit should work, and you can export to a format that will load in GM. You might check it out.

I think the EURDEP, GPR, and MET files are all part of that same HIRLAM data set. The GRIB formats that Mark is talking about are gridded format that Global Mapper actually has some native support for, but not so much the other weather-specific formats.
Thanks,
Mike
