Thanks

    Franck,

The projection codes for every projection and datum that Global Mapper supports are not known for MapInfo, what version of Global Mapper are you using and which datum? Is it possible for you to export using a different projection/datum?

    Thanks,

I apply lambert II étendu (wide) and the datum NTF France (paris or greenwich meridian)
    I use the v13.

Which MapInfo format are you using? I just export to a MIF/MID file with Lambert II Etendu with NTF France (Greenwich) and the projection was fully stored in the file as below and came back in just fine. I was using Global Mapper v13.2.2.

    CoordSys Earth Projection 3, 107, "m", 2.33722917, 46.8, 45.8989188999993, 47.6960144000004, 600000, 2200000 Bounds (547137.399046108, 1974671.70686328) (722760.528811831, 2320943.30514188)

    Thanks,

I use the .tab or the .mif and with Lambert II Etendu with NTF France.
I use mapinfo 11.04 build 404 but the problem was there on older version.

I did a test with a mapinfo file with Lambert II Etendu with NTF France. The projection and datum appear in Mapinfo.
When i open the file in GM, the projection and the datum appear in GM.
In GM, i export the file to mif/mid or .tab.
When i open the file in Mapinfo, the file appear in "non earth".
The same problem exist with the raster format.

Maybe the problem come from the french version of mapinfo...

I send you an export in MIF/MID from GM :

    CoordSys Earth Projection 3, 1002, "m", 2.9999998041319e-009, 46.8, 45.8989188999993, 47.6960144000004, 600000, 2200000 Bounds (657363.346889558, 1770721.22154375) (813573.896135518, 1831362.8644051)

Which GM version do you have? If you don't have the latest (v13.2.2), can you first get that from the links below and see if that helps?

    32-bit: http://www.globalmapper.com/downloads/global_mapper_setup.exe
    64-bit: http://www.globalmapper.com/downloads/global_mapper_setup_64bit.exe

    Thanks,
