How to create Elevation grid without blurry edges?

Hi,
I'm not sure if here is the right subforum to post this, so I'd ask the forum administrator to move it if that's the case.

Here's my question:

I'm trying to create the elevation grid from 3d data from a bunch of dwg files but when I use the standards options I get something like this picture with blurry edges at sides.

What I'd like to get is something like this next picture, which is gimp-edited:
Clipboard03-Edited.jpg
This last picture is the original shape of my map.

It is possible to do this? Do I need to reduce somehow my grid spacing or grid bounds?

Thanks in advance, any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Victor.

    Victor,

Use the grid tightness slider to eliminate the creation of the grid data in areas far from the actual data but still within the convex hull of the data. That should fix the problem.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,
