imagery files from GISRoam/Local Connect?

I have a collection of orthophotos that are .imagery files. These were probably converted from .sid via Local Connect for use in GISRoam on iPad.
I assume this a proprietary format because Global Mapper will not open them. Do I assume correctly? Has anybody else tried to use such files in Global Mapper.
Thanks,
Les

Les,
I have never seen a file with the .imagery extension. They are not something that is supported unless they are just some other format with an unusual file extension.
Thanks,

I have just been informed by the folks at Cogent3D that this is their format and that it is just a zip file with a GeoTIFF in it, so if you rename to .zip I think you can load it. I'm waiting on a sample to confirm and perhaps add automated support, but if you have a sample to provide I can test with that.
Thanks,
Mike

Perfect. I renamed to .zip and then there is a .tif sitting waiting to be used. Global Mapper found the zip with the geoTIFF in it, so no other support or changes to the software are needed.
The files are in the range of 60-200 MB so are not easy to send but the answer above is what I was looking for.

FYI I went ahead support for automatically loading the .imagery file directly, as well as the .line, .point, and .poly files that Cogent3D/GISRoam uses. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper13.zip with the latest changes for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v13.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit v13 version there is a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper13_64bit.zip .
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks Mike.
It (64-bit version) works like a charm.
Cheers,
