Hi,

When working with powerpoint to display your work progress it will speed up the process to add a "Screenshot to clipboard option" in the "Screen Capture Options" menu.

    Thomas,

You can just use Alt+Print Screen to capture your entire view window to the clipboard, then Ctrl+V to paste it, or do you need just the map part of the window?

    Thanks,

I use the Print Screen key on any Windows keyboard, to capture the entire screen to the clipboard then Paste that into an image editor for cropping and sharpening. Many examples at my link.

If you use Alt+Print Screen you get just the active window copied and not the entire screen, so you can easily get just the Global Mapper window and not your entire desktop.

    Thanks,

All valid points. But when you only need the map area. You have to crop the print screen or save a useless file. Why not just copy the image to the clipboard like you can in FalconView. Saves you time ;)

I can definitely see the utility of directly copying to clipboard. I've added that to the todo list.

    Thanks,
