Downloading from a TMS server

Hello,

I'm trying to access
from Global Mapper, but I've been unsuccessful so far. I've tried typing in different links, but every time Global Mapper halts (like it's doing something in the background) and then after a few minutes gives the message that it can't load a certain JPG file. I believe I'm not entering the correct access information.

You can see here
what the service actually looks like through firefox. Note that there is topographic map and orthophoto layer to choose from. I would be very thankful if someone can figure out how to access it, if it is at all possible. Thank you very much!

Are you sure it is a standard TMS image tile server and not just some custom thing for that server? To set it up as a TMS/OSM source you have to know the actual URL and naming convention for the actual base tile images (JPG or PNG files), assuming they even are tiled in the standard way.

    Thanks,

Actually, I'm not at all sure it's a TMS server. If there's no way to access it from Global Mapper, guess I'll have no other choice, but to screen capture the parts I need.

    Thanks.

Unless the server somewhere documents how it stores the data and if it is published for access outside the web page there isn't a way to access it. Often web sites want to control access to their data so they don't publish how the data is accessible from an external application, like via a WMS server or as TMS tiles.

    Thanks,
