NMEA track / traces not plotting until saved tracklog

A very minor question. I have just noticed (after a few 'hey why is my image empty' moments) that a NMEA GPS track log will get displayed but will not saved into a screen image file until the trace is 'saved' into a proper user feature or layer. I presume this is by design, but is there any handy way to set a "print or do not print' option anywhere for this behavior?

There isn't any setting to control this. The current behavior is that the 'active' track log is not really a feature until you actually save the tracklog under the GPS menu. You have to do this first before it will show up. For most exports if there is an unsaved active tracklog you will be prompted. I decided to add the same prompt when capturing the screen to an image to avoid future confusion. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper13.zip with the change for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v13.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit version you can get the new build from http://www.globalmapper.com/global_maper13_64bit.zip .

    Thanks,
