Elevation Rounding Tolerance in Path/Profile Viewer

Hello, I'm using the Path Profile tool to view an xyz grid of drag coefficients that range over about an order of magnitude (0.001 - 0.01). Is it possible to adjust the rounding tolerance in the viewer so that the y-axis and overlay elevation displayed at the cursor is not truncated? The alter elevation values scaling factor is a work around but I would prefer to view the actual values directly. Thanks.

I can see what you mean. I have updated both the main elevation legend display and the one on the path profile dialog to work better for very small value ranges. This is a change in a v13 build though, so you would have to move to v13 to get the change.

I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper13.zip with the change for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v13.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit v13 version there is a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper13_64bit.zip . If you decide to move to v13, just install the normal release, then apply the appropriate patch .zip file.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,
