When importing a csv file with more than the position, it would be really useful if the attribute headings in the csv also came across rather than numbered ATTR headings.

If you check the box when loading that the column headers are in the first line of the file those will be used as the attribute names rather than the generating ATTR labels.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

OK, it was not working for me. I assumed it was something to do with the WKT reference but your response suggested otherwise. I found a carriage return(or similar) on one of my headers that Excel and notepad were handling without a problm but that was foxing GM. Changed the header and it all came good. Nice. So my somewhat reduced "Suggestion" is that either GM handles these characters or flags up why attribute headers have been created when csv headers were asked for.

Ah that could be it, Global Mapper treats a lone-some carriage return as a new line, which is how you would normally treat it in most of the computing world as there are often files out there that just use that to move to a new line. I'm not sure how you would get one of those embedded in your file, but it would certainly cause that issue.

    Thanks,
