Image rectification automation
stretch
Global Mapper User
I know it's a probably a big ask, but any chance of adding some feature where instead of manually identifying key points between existing rectified images and new unrectified images, there is an option to automate the process using algorithms like SIFT and RANSAC as used in various automatic panorama generating software?
If the automatic result contains errors, the user could reject it, then add a few approximate or exact key points to get the ball rolling and start the automation again until a desired result is achieved.

I can add that to the todo list, but it's certainly a major feature and not something that could be added very soon.
Thanks,
Mike
