Exporting 2 dems that overlap but the no merge done

My problem: I have imported 2 DEMs (1 .asc and 1 arcinfo grid) that overlap in some areas. The grid in 1st is 10m and in 2nd 20 m.
I want to export a single DEM where the resulting elevations are same with the 2nd DEM (or, if not possible the mean value)in the overlapping areas. The result is the elevations of the 1st, which has the smaller grid but is not wanted in the overlapping areas. Any help?

If you simply load the 1st layer first, then the 2nd, the 2nd should be used anywhere it is valid, with the 1st layer filling in the rest. Basically whichever layer is on top in the draw order takes precedence.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,
