It's difficult for me to tell since their site is not in English. Do they say anything about WMS or a tiled map service anywhere?

They do not mention WMS or tiled map service.
I only see "maptiles.finn.no" called sometimes in page source code.

Monitoring internet traffic, I see that a lot of .jpg files (256x256) are downloaded from:
http://maptiles.finn.no
http://maptiles1.finn.no
http://maptiles2.finn.no
http://maptiles3.finn.no
http://maptiles4.finn.no

If I set http://maptiles.finn.no as online map source (MTS type), after a while I get the message:

"Error downloading OSM Tile data tile
/4/15/0.png
OSM Tile image query failed with status code 404"

What are the filenames that are coming from those servers or can you just see the domain name? The tiling could be based in any folder and might follow the OSM, TMS, or Google Maps tile naming scheme or maybe none of those.

Roald,

It seems to be similar to a TMS server (i.e. column then row in tile name and rows increase to the north), but the tile numbering isn't quite consistent with the standard ones supported in Global Mapper. I'm guessing either this is a TMS based on some projection other than lat/lon (this would make sense for Finland) and/or the data has a different tile origin. You would have to get that information out of the service provider though to have any chance of setting up the TMS source in Global Mapper though.
