The joys of Google sat images and the "45 degree" view have been giving me trouble of late. Is anyone else having to overcome this new feature? How did you do it?

The basic problem is that some cites are now defaulting to a 'slanted' 45 degree view of data and the Web Export dialog produces data you can not see once you zoom to this level until you manually turn off the goggle check box. If you did not export with the Map type selector check box enable, you can not even get the control on Goggle to turn this off. If your map suddenly quits working, consider this. Another insight is that the imagery seems to have a light gray mist on it when this is enabled. Oddly, it seems that are enables in is patches in the test cities.

Anyone know a way to patch the HTML to overcome this until Make saves us all with anther build to copes with i?

Here is a useful background link if you are new to this.
