Free High-Res Maps from Thailand

Hello,

I'm looking for Thailand maps with 0,6m resolution. The location I want to view is
a 10m high Buddha, called "wat huay mongkol" at the coordinates 12.55258N,99.82415E
-The map should be younger than 5 years.

In Google earth the youngest map is from 2003 and the bad thing is
there's a big cloud and I can't see the territorial I want to view.

So I tried GlobalMapper. In GlobalMapper, I can download "Free Maps/Imagery from Online Sources"
and there is a source with "*** Worldwide High-Res Imagery *** from DigitalGlobe"
(date: 2008-12-13) at 0.6m resolution. But there's a big black square (probably no data available),
and I can't see the territorial I want to view, too.

-Does someone know how to get a better map source from southwest Thailand?

    I just tried the DigitalGlobe imagery source and it worked fine for me to see the Buddha statue. Make sure to just use the default option of best available source, I think the 2 2008 sources overlap in that region and the one from December doesn't have coverage, but the other one does. The automatic source selection will choose the best available one.

    For the maps there are 2 dates available :
    2008-12-13 (resolution 0.6m)
    2008-02-11 (resolution 0.6m)

    In the new map the buddha statue is invisible and
    when coosing the older map the buddha statue is visible.
    But I need the map from 13-December-2008, because in summer 2008 a friend
    built a house 5400 Meters away from the buddha statue.

    Can someone help with other data sources?

    You could try going directly to www.digitalglobe.com and see if they have something newer there.

    I tried the imagefinder http://browse.digitalglobe.com/imagefinder

    The best map I found is from 2008-02-11 (Cat-ID 1010010007AB8400). The house I want to look at isn't visible because the map is 4 month too old.:(

    Are there other imagery data sources?

    You could also try www.geoeye.com and see if they have something newer from their satellites.
