Script BUG - Script Deletes/Modifies Data in Deactivated Layers

I'm running GM12.02 (b052411) and I lost a lot of manually modified data because the script file works on layers TURNED OFF in Control Center.
I did a test, modified a shapefile area, attached a name and area type, turned off the layer, then ran the script. Both the name and type were changed by the script in the turned off layer. That should not happen.

I've added a reduced script file to pinpoint the exact test script function.

You are correct that was operating on disabled/hidden layers and it probably shouldn't have been. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper12.zip with this corrected for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v12.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit v12 version there is a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper12_64bit.zip .
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike
