Image Rectifier Hangs

I'm georeferencing a bunch of 8 bit TIF files. Most are about 9,000 x 10,000. When I start out with a blank workspace, I can keep adding new maps and the Image Rectifier keeps buzzing along with no problem. But if I save the Workspace, then reload it with the 20 or so maps that were georectified previously, the Imager Rectifier hangs for 20-30 seconds every time I try to zoom in or out or pan the image that is being rectified, as if GM is trying to process something. After it finally stops hanging, I can pan or zoom one time, then it freezes again for another 20-30 seconds.

Attached is the GMW file if that helps at all.

That is odd, I wonder if one of the files is displaying very slowly or something. Are you using the 64-bit version of Global Mapper? What is the build date of what you are using? There was a problem with some TIFF files displaying very slowly in 64-bit builds of Global Mapper until very recently (i.e. after the v12.01 release), so perhaps getting the latest build will fix the issue? I have placed a new build at with the change for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v12.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit v12 version there is a new build at .

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
