TAB file export

is it possible to export a TAB file for a given loaded raster (e.g. a TIFF file that is already georeferenced using a MAP file). And this should be done without raster re-generation?

E.g. if I load the TIFF and then re-export it as GeoTiff, I do not have the 'Generate TAB option'. This option is available at the JPG export dialog, but I do not need a JPG, I just want to keep my TIFF and have a TAB georeference/projection file!

Yes you can do this using the File->Batch Convert/Reproject menu command. Just choose to go from GeoTIFF to GeoTIFF and on the batch conversion options dialog choose to 'Only Generate Metadata Files' and also to generate TAB files. Then the process should just zip through and create a .tab file for each input file.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
