Elevation data Italy

Hi Guys

Looking to see if anyone knows where I may be able to purchase elevation data for Italy, looking for a 2m DTM or even a .5m contour file.

    John,

    For that detailed of DTM you might try Intermap (http://www.terrainondemand.com/GlobalMapper) as I believe they cover Italy with their 5m DTM product. Beyond that I'm not sure. You could generate contours from their DTM (or anyone else's DTM) data in Global Mapper using the File->Generate Contours menu command.
