Scale

Hi I'm using Global Mapper to transform PDF images into GEOTiffs for use in SeaPro. The problem I have is SeaPro will only allow a maximum zoom of 1:1 which sometimes makes soundings difficult to see. Is there anyway I can change the scale in Global Mapper to resolve this problem?

You could use a smaller sample spacing (i.e. higher resolution) when doing your export to GeoTIFF. This will allow you to zoom in further, although the resulting file will be larger.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

Just load the PDF in Global Mapper, then use the File->Export Raster Data menu command to export a GeoTIFF. Change the default sample spacing to something smaller (say half the default values) then press OK to do the export.

    Thanks,
