File Structure for Export to DTED

Some other applications expect DTED data to be held in a series of folders, each 1 degree wide and named after the logitude of the left hand edge (e.g. W002, W001, E000, E001, etc), and containing multiple 1 degree by 1 degree tiles with filenames such as N52.DT1, N53.DT1 etc.
Is there any chance of this becoming an Export to DTED option?
Thanks
Ken James

    Ken,

I think that could be added without too much trouble. I'll take a look and let you know.

    Thanks,

    Ken,

I was able to add an option to split DTED exports as requested, although it's in a v12 build as we are working on that now. I have placed a 32-bit v12 build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper12.zip if you want to try it. Just download that and extract it into your v11 installation folder, then run the global_mapper12.exe file and you'll have the new option on the DTED export dialog.

Here is a trial key you can use to try out the full v12 functionality for a couple of weeks until pricing for v12 is set:

    RegName: DEMO_08032010
    RegCode: 1167868041

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike
