Hi Mike!

I found GM doesn't draw an icon images for KML placemarks, even if referenced image file is exists on local filesystem. For example:
<kml xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2">;
<Document>
   <Style id="sampleIcon">
      <IconStyle>
         <Icon>
            <href>img.jpg</href>
         </Icon>
      </IconStyle>
   </Style>
   <Placemark>
      <name>IconStyle.kml</name>
      <styleUrl>#sampleIcon</styleUrl>
      <Point>
         <coordinates>-122.36868,37.831145,0</coordinates>
      </Point>
   </Placemark>
</Document>
</kml>
Currently GM will draw a black dot for this KML, but I would love to have an icons (and other style features) supported

    Currently Global Mapper only supports using different colored dots for points imported from KML format files. I will add an item to the todo list to try and decode and use custom symbol images specified in the KML files.

    Thanks,

    Mike
