HARTEBEESTHOEK 1994 Coordinate system

Hello,
On the online help of Global Mapper (http://www.globalmapper.com/helpv11/datum_list.htm) i saw that the HARTEBEESTHOEK 1994 was set to use the GRS1980 ellipsoid. However, I think this coordinate system is based on WGS 84, cf http://spatialreference.org/ref/epsg/4941/html/, or http://www.fig.net/commission5/reports/wonnacott.pdf.
Is is just a error in the documentation?

The GRS1980 ellipsoid and the WGS84 ellipsoid is basically identical, so the definitions are basically equivalent.
Thanks,
Mike
