Subdivide lines?

Is it possible to subdivide lines and polygon segments?
Is it possible to add a <tessellate>1</tessellate> element to kml/kmz files?

    Tim,

    Yes, I think what you want is to add additional vertices along existing features. You can do that by selecting the feature(s) with the Digitizer Tool, then right-clicking and selecting the Advanced Feature Creation option to resample the selected features. Then you can add as many additional vertices as you need to maintain the desired shape in other applications.
