It looks like this was a bug caused by trying to show options for an empty layer. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper11.zip with this fixed for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v11.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit version, there is a new build available at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper11_64bit.zip .

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike

I hope you've have a good sleep Mike (when you wake up on Tuesday).

Do you know you posted 5 new builds yesterday? (That I counted.) There was some major stuff in them, both enhancements and bug fixes.

This doesn't normally happen! Your efforts are much appreciated. Widely.

I suspected as much. I grid my Topos into 15-min extents, I remember opening one in this region and finding not a single 40' contour. I can walk a 100-feet from my house a cross a 40' contour.

Two bugs in one day . . . I'm hot!!!

    Thanks for the quick fix.

BTW, that must be some hot compiler you have. The text code file must be in the 100's of MB and for you to compile and zip all the files in a few minutes is impressive. I'm guessing a Core i7 w/ 12GB of DDR3?

I'd say 5 builds in a day sounds about normal to me. This morning the announcement for the v11.02 release is going out, so it was good to get everything fixed prior to that.

A full build of Global Mapper takes close to half an hour for all configurations, but when I just have to change a file or two it only take a couple of minutes since it just has to compile that file and relink. My machine is pretty good, but it is well over a year old now, probably time for a new one soon.

    Thanks,

    Mike

I wasn't aware of the ability to link binary modules, that explains a lot.

    Thanks
