Hi,

I am just wondering how or if it is possible to upload points/lines from a GPS unit or download point data to a GPS unit with Global Mapper. I have the latest version but I can't seem to find these options (if they exists).

Thank you so much for your help,
Dan

    Dan,

If you have a newer Garmin GPS device that stores its user data in a GPX file on the device, you can just connect your device, then browse to the GPS device folder from Global Mapper and open the GPX file. You can also save a GPX file directly there.

For other GPS devices, use the free 3rd-party software application Waypoint+ and bring your data onto the computer as a GPX file, then load that into Global Mapper. You can also send GPX data to a connected GPS device using Waypoint+.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike
