Converting 3-D DXF Files

Hello Mike,
We have converted 3-D DXF files into a local grid system, but it appears the 3-D element is not being projected. We are able to convert the file, but maybe in the export to DXF step, we are missing something. Do you think there is something we are doing incorrectly?

How exactly what the Z coordinate be projected? The projection definition for a local grid just defines the transformation from one point on the earth's surface to another. The Z coordinate doesn't change.
