PIXEL Coord vs. Coordinate Readout

I'm trying to rectify a large Mrsid image to an UNKNOWN system. The MrSid is in State Plane using a world file (__.sdw).
I have made a text file with the correct x,y GCP's to import.
When i load the "Rectify Imagery" portion of GM the PIXEL coordinates are totally different than the coordinates that readout at the bottom of the screen....therefore the image is not being correctly Rectified.
Any suggestions to get the PIXEL coordinates the same as specified in the world file while using the rectifier ?
Thanks for any Help!!

If you have a world file already you shouldn't need to rectify the image as the world file provides the mapping from pixel coordinates to ground coordinates, that is unless the world file coordinates are incorrect. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Mike
