NWI WMS server - can't get to work

I'm trying to specify a WMS data source under the Download Online Imagery... option of File menu using GM11. I'm following directions and the address specified on the following page:

http://www.fws.gov/wetlands/data/ESRI.html

and referenced here (for terraserver, but NWI site)

http://www.fws.gov/wetlands/data/tools/TipsTricks.html

So for instance, I'm adding the following link in GM11 as the Server URL:

http://wetlandswms.er.usgs.gov/wmsconnector/com.esri.wms.Esrimap?ServiceName=USFWS_WMS_CONUS_Wetlands&

Unfortunately, when I do this and I click Get List of Available Data Layers, GM11 gives me an error stating:

"Error getting WMS server capabilities
Service Exception getting WMS server capabilities:
Access to the specified service WMS is not available
OGCWMSCapabilities.cpp -772
Build Time: Aug 25 2009 19:07:33"

After I clear the error message I notice that the address I put in as the data source in GM11 is now split between the two entry boxes (Server URL and Service Name).

I can get this function to work with other WMS services. NWI web support tells me it's working from their end.

Any ideas what's going on? Are there other sources for NWI data besides downloading through their online mapper?

I was able to get it working. You need to place the service name part in the Service Name field on the WMS source add dialog. I have attached an image showing how I set it up.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

Thanks, I understand better now and it worked for me, too. However, when I try loading data for a reasonably sized area in Northern WI that should have wetland polygons, I get nothing. Apparently, WI is an exception to the NWI coverage offered by the WMS.
