I am having problems loading netCDF files into the 64 bit version of V11 beta 3. I get a dialog box which says Error Loading followed by the path and name of the netCDF file - 383 followed by "Build Time: Aug 10 2009 13:02:29". The same file works fine with v10.02. Thanks.

Can you provide the file generating the errors to support@globalmapper.com or point me to it?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I can cut out a piece of it and put it up (the full size is about 450 megs).

If you want to send the whole thing you can FTP it to ftp.globalmapper.com using a username of 'upload' and a password of 'upload'.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

I have put two netcdf files over on the ftp site. The first file cable.soest.noaa.lidar.10mf3.grd works with V10.02, but does not work with V11 (at least the 64 bit version). The second file cable.soest.noaa.lidar.10mf.grd is an updated version of the netcdf file. This type does not work with either V10.02 or V11, but if it could be made to work would be great (I currently convert the newer file type to the older type to get it to open in V10.02). This particular netCDF file type is the native output of the Generic Mapping Tools package (gmt.soest.hawaii.edu). Thanks

Thanks for the files. I was able to fix the problem with the first file and get the second file to load directly. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper11_64bit.zip with the change for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v11.xx 64-bit installation folder to give it a try.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,
